Reading
Listen to this story
British EnglishApple’s iPhone 18 Pro Max is the supersized version of the 18 Pro. It costs from £1,299 and has a 6.9in screen, a big battery and top cameras. It uses the fast A20 Pro chip and iOS 27 with a new Siri AI chatbot. It also gets its biggest battery upgrade yet and has the longest iPhone battery life.
This phone is very large and heavy at 249g. Many people will need two hands to use it, and a strap or case handle helps. It can be hard to fit in a pocket, but the bright screen is great for films and games.
Battery life is the star. In light use it can last almost three days, about a day longer than the 18 Pro. A full charge takes about 70 minutes, or 80% in 32 with a 60W USB-C charger (not included).
The 18 Pro Max keeps long software support and a first-class camera, but the size is the trade-off. If you want the biggest screen and the longest iPhone battery, this model pushes things to the max.
